Save the Ice Community Celebration

The Community Celebration supports the ongoing operations and future sustainability of the volunteer ran Lewis-Clark Amateur Hockey Association (LCAHA) and the LC Ice Arena.

Funds raised help:

• Maintain and operate the ice rink year-round
• Offset rising utility and ice-making costs
• Provide scholarships for youth hockey and figure skating families
• Support Learn to Skate and Learn to Play programs
• Maintain equipment and facility safety upgrades
• Invest in long-term capital improvements, including the future ice chiller replacement

The LC Ice Arena is more than just a rink, it’s a community hub that serves youth hockey, figure skating, open skating, tournaments, school events, and families across the Lewis-Clark Valley.

Every ticket purchased, sponsorship secured, and auction item donated directly helps keep ice in our community and opportunities on the ice for local kids.

9:30 AM- Doors open for figure skating showcase

10:00 AM- Figure skating showcase begins

– silent auction and 50/50 board begin

-on-ice competition sales begin

-vendors open

12:00 PM- On-ice competitions begin (chuck a puck, chuck a duck and slapshot competition)

-beer garden opens

1:30 PM- Doors open for scrimmage game

2:00 PM- U of I vs. WSU Scrimmage game

4:00 PM  -Teams do signatures 

-Dunk tank opens 

4:30 PM-6:00 PM –Open skating begins

5:00 PM-Silent Auction and 50/50 board close

6:00 PM-Event ends

6:00-8:00 PM Clean Up
