Think your BBQ is the best in the Valley? Prove it at the Chillin’ & Grillin’ Smoke-Off on Saturday, October 18th at the LC Ice Arena!

This fun, flavor-packed day is a fundraiser for the LC Ice Arena’s Chiller Replacement Fund—and we need grillers like you to help bring the heat. You donate the meat, smoke it on-site, and the public purchases tasting tickets to vote for their favorites. Judging is anonymous, and each category winner takes home an awesome prize, LC Lightning swag, and bragging rights for a whole year.

• Event Date: Saturday, October 18, 2025
• Location: LC Ice Arena Parking Lot 1521 N 6th Ave #111, Lewiston, ID 83501
• Set-Up Begins: 7:00 AM
• Meat Ready to Serve By: 4:00 PM
• Winners Announced: By 6:30 PM
• Meat Donation Required: Minimum 3 lbs per entry
• Categories:
  • Smoked Meat (any variety)
  • Baked Beans (optional)
  • Potato Salad (optional)
• Prizes for each category winner

💡 Entrants must provide their own meat, smoker, generator, tent/shade, and prep supplies.

🌟 Other event highlights include:

• Open Skate – grab your skates and hit the ice!
• Kid’s Carnival – kids can enter to create and run a game! The crowd favorite wins a prize, and all games will be donated to LCAHA for future events.
• Dessert Auction – featuring sweet creations from local bakeries and home bakers!

All proceeds support the LC Ice Arena Chiller Fund—helping us keep the ice frozen and the programs thriving!

Competitor requirements:

-Competitors must be willing to provide at least 64 ounces of meat, beans or potato salad per entry chosen

-Competitors are required to provide their own power (generators), barbeque or smoker and pop-up tent if preferred

-Carnival game entries will be donated after the event to be used for future LCAHA events
